2012 Tournament Details

THE DICK CLEGG - HOWIE STEIN MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

The golfers began arriving at the Easton Country Club around 8:30am for early registration, and indulged in the complimentary continental breakfast. It was an absolutely perfect day, sunny, temps in the high 70s. We teed off at 9:30am sharp. The course was in excellent condition, and contributed to better shot making and lower scores. At the completion of the round, all retired to the dining room for an excellent buffet lunch. Walt Mortimer addressed the golfers, thanked them for their participation, noting that 90 golfers is the most we've had in recent years. A fund raising raffle was then held, and ably run by Greg Digirolamo & Walt Bentson. Some of the many prizes were donated by the Red Sox Foundation, which included monster seats to a future Red Sox game, an autographed game jersey #34, signed by David Ortiz, and and autographed bat signed by Dustin Pedroia.

We thank all those who contributed prizes to our raffle, including the Grossman Marketing Group, Rich Clegg, Walt Bentson, Greg Digirolamo, Walt Mortimer, The BPL Golf Committee, and the Boston Red Sox Foundation.

We also thank our sponsors, for whom we rely on so heavily, to insure a successful tournament. They are listed below.

Our thanks to Mark & Tom Lombardi of the Easton Country Club, for their outstanding maintenance of the golf course and their excellent dining room service.
