2010 Tournament Details

THE DICK CLEGG - HOWIE STEIN MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Boston Park League sponsored the 11th Annual Dick Clegg - Howie Stein Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday August 2nd, 2010, at the Easton Country Club in Easton, Ma. We had 84 golfers toe the mark at 9:30am on a beautiful day to play.

The golfers included Hall of Famers Dr. Bob Wilkinson, Harvey Krupnick, Jack Kearns, Scooter Govoni, Derek Grudinskas, Greg Digirolamo, Jack Fahey, & Walt Mortimer. HOF President Walt Bentson did the administrative work and took a few pictures, while Tournament Chairman Greg Digirolamo handled the registration and the post tournament raffle. Scott Keurulainen won the longest drive, hitting it a mile 1/2, although Doug MacFarlane had the longest drive from Woodstock, N.H., a 3 hour drive. Greg Digirolamo got to within 4 feet on the closest to the pin hole, only to have Skip Mortimer get to 3 feet. Gloria Clegg won the longest drive on the women's side. The results of the team awards are below.
